What is the best way to use SimpleFoodie?
The best way to use SimpleFoodie is to first get all your favorite recipes together and start creating your own online Cookbook with the Add a Recipe Function. I mean add all of them even if you have made the dish a hundred times. What we’re trying to accomplish here is to get all the ingredients in one place so we can created easy to use grocery lists and save you time.
Now if you’re saying to yourself, “I have no recipes to add what do I do?” No problem. Start looking through the recipe database. You’ll be able to find recipes by cuisine and course by using the links that can always be found on the left hand of the page. Or if you know the name of the dish or have a specific ingredient in mind use the search function at the top of the page.
Once this is done start thinking about what you would like to eat for the week and consider how much time you’re going to have to cook each day. Find the recipes that meet your schedule and add them to your Grocery List.
When your Grocery List is complete you then sort it alphabetically, by recipe, or by store section. Print it out and go to the grocery store or email it to whoever is going to do the shopping.
This process should save you a significant amount of time and make your cooking experience all the more pleasurable.
