Kir Royal Recipe

Ingredients
creme de cassis | 1 tsp | |
champagne | 3/4 cup | |
lemon zest | 1 tsp | to taste |
Directions
- Pour the creme de cassis into a champagne glass.
- Add the champagne to the glass.
- Take a piece of lemon zest and gently twist and place on the rim of the glass.
Notes
To prepare the lemon zest take a vegetable peeler and gently peel the skin off a lemon. Using a knife slice off the ends lengthwise to get a uniform piece of lemon zest.
