Spicy Braised Chicken Recipe. An easy weeknight family recipe.

Ingredients
| Braising Liquid | ||
| water | 1 cup | boiling |
| bouillon cube | 2 | |
| salt | 1 tsp | |
| curry powder | 1 tsp | |
| dry mustard | 1/2 tsp | |
| paprika | 1/2 tsp | |
| oregano (dried) | 1 tsp | |
| Tabasco Sauce | 1/4 tsp | to taste |
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 tsps | |
| garlic clove | 1 | crushed |
| Chicken | ||
| chicken | 1 | cut up |
| salt | 1/2 tsp | to taste |
| black pepper | 1/2 tsp | to taste |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl combine the boiling water and bouillon cube.
- Stir in the salt, curry powder, dry mustard, paprika, oregano, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Place in a large baking dish.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Place the chicken in the oven and braise for 30 minutes. Turn the chicken over. Continue braising for 20 additional minutes.
- Increase the temperature to 400 degrees and braise for 10 more minutes.
