Grilled Porterhouse

Grilled Porterhouse Steak. The porterhouse steak consist of two tender steaks connected by a T-shaped bone, the top loin which is incredibly flavorful and the very tender tenderloin steak. It's the best of both worlds.

Preparation

  1. Salt and pepper the porterhouse steak on each side.
  2. If you are using a gas grill set the temperature to medium. If you are using a charcoal barbeque get the coals to the point that white ash is showing and the coals are glowing and are spread out in an even layer.
  3. For medium rare grill each side for 4 to 6 minutes.
  4. Remove the steak and dab with the melted butter.
  5. Allow the steak to sit for 2 to 3 minutes before serving to increase the juiciness of the steak.
